Sinopsi: When Anna dies of Aids, for her father Victor the world falls apart. Grief-sicken, he holds Salvo, his Sicilian son in law, responsible and cuts all contact off with him. A few years later, Victor has still not got over his bereavement, and feels an urgent need to find a remedy for his suffering: so he sets off, to find Salvo, who after his wife’s death has left Switzerland to return to Italy. In Palermo, he follows in Anna’s footsteps, rediscovering her trough meeting people she knew, places she went and this country she loved so much. Gradually, this father who is looking for answers discovers a world unknown to him, yet haunted by his daughter’s spirit, and which he learns to love.
