Zoom Igualada 2005, European TV Film Festival
and Cinema Exhibition, starts shooting, as it has opened the
period for producers, televisions and directors to present
their TV films.

The European TV Film Festival will take place from the 10th
to the 13th November. The general terms and conditions for
participation can be checked on www.zoomigualada.org.
This third edition comes with more strength, enthusiasm, activities
and novelties. While the first two editions have been an exhibition
of TV films and European cinema, in this third edition Zoom
Igualada looks more closely to the TV film, either of Catalan,
Spanish or European origin. This is why the name change this
year, now becoming the European TV Film Festival and Cinema
Exhibition.
The Exhibition will take place from the 4th to the 6th November.
Therefore, there will be a differentiation between the Exhibition,
which will take place during the first weekend of the Zoom
Igualada, and the TV Film Festival proper, which will be the
protagonist during the last four days.
The Ateneu Igualadí will be the headquarters of the
Exhibition and main venue for the Festival, although there
will be other placements for the some events of the Exhibition.
The main aims of the Festival will be to show the latest European
TV Films, reaching out to the general public, with a special
attention to those made in Catalonia, while also promoting
Catalan and European cinema in general.
With these objectives, Zoom Igualada aims to become consolidated
as a European-level festival for this genre, while gaining
a space of recognition in the audiovisual world
